JERRY MURO HAS CASE TO ANSWER

THE Kisutu Resident’s Magistrate Court yesterday found TBC journalist JERRY MURO to have a case to answer in a case of corruption after the prosecution side closed its case.
The case was adjourned to March 29 this year when the accused would begin submission of defence on charges against him.
Resident Magistrate, Gabriel Mirumbe, said, “I consider all the evidence in court were reliable therefore the accused has to provide answers to the court,” he said.
The ruling came after the last prosecution witness Detective Coplo Lugano Mwampeta (32) testified against Muro.

Muro was also charged alone with the offence of corrupt transaction. It was alleged that on January 29, 2010, at Sea Cliff Hotel in the city, being employed by TBC as a reporter, he allegedly corruptly solicited 10m/- from former accountant with Bagamoyo District Council, Michael Wage Karoli.

In this speech murdoch triy to tell jounalist and media that we have to realise that the next generation of people accessing news and information wether from newspapers or any other source have different set of expectations about the kind of news they will get it from and who they wiil get it from.

There is so many challenges however is to deliver that news the ways consumers want to receive it  and You have to look what do they want to know,and where do they go to get it,they want news on demand continuously updated ,a point of view about not jast what happened but why it happened.

At  the same time the man say that we have to experiment with the concept of using blogers to suppliment our daily coverage of news on the net.and we need to be relevant to our readers,the  internet  provides the opportunity for us to be more relevant to our advertisers.

second day of trainning

For the second day of internet trainning for editors and sub editors I was learned more things I was ever knew  before about how internet can change the world,google map,news,images and tranlation.also now I have my own blog I can use to put my informations,I can say that now I know many things from internet world statistics,top 10 internet countries statistics and so on,so by now am proud to know many things about internet and I expect to know more things till the end of this trainning.
